Nobody likes being bored, it doesn’t matter if you’re a man or woman boredom is just an unpleasant thing to feel. Now as a man, having a boring partner doesn’t seem to be such a big deal because we can create our own excitement. We’d go out there and go invent something, we’ll start a band, start a business, do menial jobs, watch football matches as well as play football matches, play video games, etc. Whatever it is, you’re not going to stop a man from getting his own fix of adrenaline. While all those things come with a certain amount of drama and excitement we are still ultimately in control and like that. We don’t really want our home lives or partner to be a source of drama.
